The Deepest Prison
Tartarus lies as far beneath the underworld as the sky stands above the earth — ringed by a wall of bronze and the threefold night. Into it the elder powers were cast.
Greek myth · Strategy · Single-player
Beneath the underworld lies Tartarus — the abyss where the old world sealed its titans, cursed kings and forgotten queens. You are its eternal keeper.
Tartarus
The abyss rests. Every ward holds and the bound are quiet.

The office of the keeper
The keeper of Tartarus neither judges nor destroys. The task is older and stranger than either — to hold the balance of a place that must never be emptied, and never be broken.

Every spirit you bind pulls on the ones around it. Some steady their neighbours; others unsettle them. Move a single prisoner and the balance shifts three chambers away.
III
Strengthen the divine seals, spend the reserve of divine energy, and weather the mythic events that ripple through the realm. Every act you take has its price elsewhere.
IV
You are not here to destroy the bound, only to keep the equilibrium of a place that must never be emptied — and never be broken.
What you actually do
Tartarus Keeper is a slow, readable strategy game. No timers, no energy meters — just a system of readings that responds to everything you decide.
From the Titan Cells to the Gate of Tartarus itself, each chamber has its own resting stone, ward and malice — and its own neighbours that feel every tremor.
Cronus, Typhon, Medusa, Orpheus, Cassandra. Every archetype carries an origin, a power, a weakness and a danger rating from one to ten.
Spirits strengthen and weaken one another across the whole abyss. Echidna emboldens her monstrous children; Orpheus quiets even Cerberus at the gate.
Channel Zeus' Lightning, invoke Athena's Blessing, close the rift portals. Each rite draws on a reserve of divine energy and leaves a mark of its own.
A Titan Awakening, the Styx in flood, a seal torn open. The wheel turns whether you are ready or not, and each omen runs for several cycles.
A mythology guide, eight artifacts of the old world, the full chronicle of your watch, statistics, ten honours to earn, and local snapshots you can restore.
Six readings, per chamber and realm-wide
The map of the abyss
Tap any chamber to read it, attend to it, and watch the consequence travel outward along the paths it shares with its neighbours.
Ten orders of the bound
Where the vigil goes next
The abyss is not finished. Here is the order of the work — what has shipped, what is being built, and what is still being weighed.
The full keeper's loop: ten chambers, thirty archetypes across ten orders, nine rites of containment, eleven mythic events, and an archive to read it all back.
More of the abyss to fill, and a clearer answer to the question every keeper asks — why did that reading move?
Events that build instead of simply landing — omens that warn before they strike, and rites that can be combined into a single greater working.
A watch worth remembering. Deeper statistics, an exportable chronicle of every rite and omen, and snapshots that follow you between devices.
Ideas still being weighed — nothing promised, everything considered.
This is the order of the work, not a schedule. Items may move, merge or be dropped if they don't serve the balance.
Privacy
